Mill Park Drive play area
The new Mill Park Drive Play Area has been installed and opened to the public in December 2023. The play area was funded by just under £146,000 of capital funding through Section 106.
The new play area is easily accessed by the lit pedestrian and cycle path that runs through the park. The new features include:
- A new play area for children up to 14 years of age
- Wheelchair accessible roundabout
- Variety of swings suitable for different ages
- Surface trampoline
- Sensory enrichment panels
The design for the play area was chosen by a public vote carried out in September 2023.
