Braintree District Council and Active Braintree Foundation are pleased to launch the Braintree District Volunteer and Active Braintree Awards 2024 bringing together the annual awards for volunteering, sport and physical activity. The awards are an opportunity to recognise the efforts of those who give their time to help our communities to be better, healthier places to live, work and play as well as recognising the achievements of our athletes, clubs and coaches. Nominations are welcome across all sectors including arts, sports, community and culture.
The shortlist, that is the top 3 in each category of the 5 sports and physical activity awards, will automatically go through to the Active Essex Sports Awards in December 2024.
Nomination deadline is on Friday 13 September 2024 at 5pm.
Those nominations who are shortlisted for awards will be contacted during the week beginning the 30 September 2024 and invited to the Awards Ceremony to take place at Maltings Academy on the evening of Wednesday 30 October 2024 (make sure your nominee saves this date).
